Welcome to Allan Photography of Modesto CA. We specialize in creative, yet affordable professional photography for Modesto, Ceres, Turlock, Riverbank, Oakdale, Ripon, and Manteca, as well as Merced County, and the Central Valley of California.

This site is primarily for Portraits. But we offer Wedding Photography, and Senior Portrait Photography.You are welcome to visit our Main Galleries or our Client Galleries. You can visit any of these sites by clicking the links tab above, or from any page click the licks tab.

You’ll find our photography prices very affordable. We have worked hard to keep our overhead low to allow us maintain competitive photography prices, and we don’t believe high prices mean high quality.

We first photographed Tru last May when she was just a few weeks old. At Christmas we photographed her again for Christmas cards. Now Tru is One and we just photographed her again. We’ve put together a small Brag book for grandma. Here it is…

The Ratto Family

It was family portrait day for the Ratto family last Sunday, come rain or shine. Well it was rain. But a portrait in the orchard was on the schedule and portrait in the orchard, in the rain, is what we did. As it turns out, I think everyone had a good time. Beverly Martin, Corporate Head shot

Eastburn family portrait at the State Capitol

The Eastburn family of Sacramento had a family reunion over the holidays and decided it was a great time for a new Family portrait at the State Capitol. They were a group of 11, but very cooperative and enjoyable to work with. The weather was very cold and damp, so we had stay on dry ground, but it all worked out. Modesto Family Reunion, Christmas Portrait Special

The Moore family got together over the Thanksgiving weekend for a family reunion. They took advantage of the get together and our Christmas Special to update their family portrait. We met at Davis park Sunday morning. Large group, but very cooperative. Except for a brief run in with a dog pile, evrything went well.

We did two Christmas Special Portrait Sessions with the Vos family in Ripon. One at the Spring Creek Golf Club, and one at their home.
Great family and two great locations.

Krystal & Gabriel introduced four week old Lilly to Chowchilla and the world with our Christmas Portrait Special just last week. Lilly was wide awake and cooperative through the entire session.

Christmas Portrait Special

My apologies for being slow to get some of Christmas portrait Sessions posted. It’s been a very busy couple of weeks. Here’s a few of our favorite sessions of the past couple of weeks.

This first one is of Robing and Barry and their new grand daughter Tru. Mike and Abby, Tru’s parents, as well as Robin and Barry’s dogs Lincoln, Ford, and Reagan, all got involved.

Tru's first Christmas, One of my favorites

Chantel & Brian’s family met us early at CSU Stanislaus on a Saturday morning for their Christmas Portrait Session. The kids were great and had a good time.

Erin & Andres brought Lilly and Evan to meet us at the park in Oakdale for their Christmas Portrait Session. The kids had a great time and we were able to make some fun portraits.

Welcome to the world, Lilly

Last week was Lilly’s “Welcome to the world” session in Chowchilla. Dad is a Fireman, so we included some of his gear in the portrait session. Wait to you see Lilly’s hair. (4 weeks old)

She was perfect awake and alert for the whole session. Check out the video!

Welcome to the World Evan

One of our favorite portrait sessions is the Welcome to the World Portrait Session. Created around newborns and infants. The session is usually scheduled for a Saturday or Sunday Morning on mom and dads bed. Even though the session is primarily for the baby, the entire family is incorporated into the session.

The $20 Pool, Portrait event
